Carrie Dancy Niemy is a Program Officer on the National Design Team at Enterprise Community Partners. In this role, she is responsible for scaling the adoption of human-centered design in the national affordable housing ecosystem. She directs the award-winning Affordable Housing Design Leadership Institute and in 2018 guided Enterprise’s efforts on City of Atlanta’s domestiCITY Affordable Housing Design Competition. Prior to joining the Enterprise team, Carrie served as the Executive Director of East Somerville Main Streets for eight years where she established the organization’s cultural economic development and placemaking practices. Carrie holds an MBA focused in marketing and strategy from Boston University and a BS from Union College, where she studied economics as a lever for environmental systems change.
