Paola Allais Acree is Director of Design with the Experience team at AARP. In this role, Paola uses experience strategy and design thinking to create experiences and solutions that support 50+ Americans choose how they live as they age. She believes in the power of intentional design as a gateway for consumers to understand and control their decisions, big and small. She also leans into agile and iterative testing to create adaptable, consumer-centric solutions.
Paola came to AARP eight years ago and has been in her current role since 2016. Before then, her roles included supporting the Segmentation, Education, Outreach, and Local teams with a focus on community and civic engagement around issues of social change.
Paola is a graduate of Princeton and Yale. She lives in Takoma Park, MD with her husband and their three children.
