Born in Harlem and raised in Rhode Island, Providence artist Luna is a singer/songwriter who uses storytelling to promote messages of self-reflection and acceptance.
With a background in musical theater, the Dominican musician strives to create projects that emphasize color and gender blindness in casting and writing.
In 2018 she was awarded a city citation for the musical composition of "Hymn to Providence" written by poet Yolanda Hernandez. Luna is currently working on her debut album Beauty Queen (May 2019) that explores themes of self-love, spirituality, and cultural identity.
Currently Luna attends Berklee College of Music majoring in Musical Theater Writing and Performance. She's an active YouTuber where she releases behind the scenes content along with original spoken word poetry and music covers.
